The Favorable Year of The Lord

My child, today is the day to bring good news to the afflicted. Today is the day to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners. This is the favorable year of the Lord. I comfort all who mourn. I give oil of gladness instead of mourning and the mantle of praise instead of fainting. You will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that I may be glorified. Take up your rightful place. Stand in the midst of your enemies. I have given you a double portion. I have made an everlasting covenant with you. Rejoice My bride. I am causing righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations. Be strong and courageous. Rule and reign for I your King am coming quickly.

Isaiah 61

Walk in My Light

Blessed are you My child, who hunger and thirst for righteousness. Blessed are you who are pure in heart and seek to know Me day and night. For My light will break through like the dawn and you will be led out with rejoicing and praise. You will be satisfied with good things because I delight in you. Do not fear when times get tough and days are dark. For I illumine your path. Walk in My light and truth. The days are getting darker and times are tougher, but I am in control. I am making My bride ready for My return. Don’t cling to earthly things. Keep your eyes focused on Me and Me alone. Delight in Me. I am coming quickly and My reward is with Me. Rev. 21:12

Grace and Peace

My child, My grace and peace be upon you. Come and partake. Drink deeply of My presence and bask in My Holy Spirit. I freely give to all who come. I long for your heart to return to Me. Come to Me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. I will lavish My grace and peace on all whose hearts are wholly Mine.

Matthew 11:28-30

My Bride: Jerusalem

My child, you are My bride. You are My Jerusalem whom I love and cherish. For I am calling forth My bride, new Jerusalem. She is making herself ready for the day of My return. It has been in My heart from the beginning to raise up a people to know Me and follow after Me with their whole hearts. To you it has been granted My child, you I have called forth to rule and reign in My beloved city Jerusalem. I have removed your filthy rags and clothed you in festal robes. I have removed the reproach of the land and brought forth a lavish banquet. You look at Jerusalem as a place, I see her as a people. Just as I am outside of time, I also am outside of space. I am calling a people to be a crown of beauty in My hand. No longer will you be forsaken or desolate, but you will be called My delight is in her, for I delight in you. You are My holy people, the redeemed of the Lord; and you will be called, sought out, a city not forsaken. Isaiah 62.

“And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride, adorned for her husband.” Revelation 21:2

Never Could Earn Our Way!

The pursuit of righteousness through obedience to law is what Paul called the “elementary principles of the world.” Man has an inbred penchant for attempting to justify himself in this way; it’s absolutely fundamental to our thinking about God. And why shouldn’t it be? Because this philosophy of life has been hammered into us since the dawn of man, it’s not easy to escape. It just seems so right! So given this fact, we can’t judge Israel too harshly for falling into this trap—they merely “stumbled over the stumbling stone.”

Making people work for righteousness was never God’s intent for law. Even in the Old Testament, grace was the key to righteousness before God. He instituted a system of sacrifice and offerings not for the Israelites to earn their way into His good graces, but that they might experience His forgiveness as they obeyed Him. Obeying God was to be an act of faith on their part, not merely an attempt to accumulate enough points to somehow satisfy Him. God’s intention regarding His grace is nowhere more evident than in the Old Testament ritual of the Day of Atonement described in Leviticus 16.

Cast Every Care

My child, My precious one, let not your heart be weary. Cast every care on Me and I will give you rest. Take hold of your thoughts My child. Don’t let them run wild. Keep your heart and mind stayed on Me and I will take care of you. I will lead you in the way you should go. Walk not as those who have no hope. Don’t spend your time doubting, fretting or living in fear. Look to Me the lover of your soul. I will sustain you. I am your peace. I am the victor over your circumstance. I am your joy. Look no other place to find rest for your soul. I am all you need. Release everything to Me. See My glory and majesty fall on you and your loved ones as you surrender all to Me.

Humble Yourself

My child, I am calling a humble people, for I will remove from your midst your proud, exulting ones, and you will never again be haughty on My holy mountain. But I will leave among you a humble and lowly people, and they will take refuge in the name of the Lord. My child, humble yourself under My mighty hand and I will lift you up. I the Lord your God am in your midst. I am your victorious warrior and I exult over you with joy. I renew you with My love and I rejoice over you with shouts of joy. I gather you together. I give you strength. I restore your fortunes before your eyes. it is by My hand and My power that I do this. Remain humble, and I will lift you up.

Zephaniah 3, James 4:10

Perfect Peace

My child, fix your eyes on Me. Let Me fill your heart and mind with good things. Gaze upon Me and I will show you great and glorious wonders. Quiet your heart before Me. Rest in My loving arms. Cease striving and know that I am God. I am in control and I know what I’m doing. Behold, the great and terrible day of the Lord is coming and all men will see Me and tremble. Nations and kings will bow down before Me and all peoples will acknowledge My Kingdom. My Kingdom comes and My will is being done on earth as it is in heaven. Be sure of this, those whose mind is stayed on Me, I will keep in perfect peace. Isaiah 26:3

Live in the Now

My child, stop living in the past of what you could have done, or what you should have done. Don’t bemoan the past or live with regrets. The past is past. I also don’t want you to live in the future. You don’t know what the future holds, but you do know Who holds the future. I am here NOW! I want you to live in this present moment. Make the most out of this day. Live as if this was your last day here on earth. Let love replace regret and fear. Let hope replace despair. Let joy overflow and peace well up and really live in the here and now. What would you do if you knew today was your last? How would you live? Would you worry and fret about tomorrow? Cast all your cares on Me and embrace today,. Be engaged in today and I will take care of your tomorrows.

Pray and Keep on Praying

My child, pray and keep on praying. For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come. It will not delay Habakkuk 2:3. Keep your eye on the prize. Stay the course. Lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Me, and Ill will make your way straight. Prov. 3:5&6. I will bring to pass all that I have promised. Trust in Me. Look to Me. Delight yourself in My abundance. I am faithful and My word is true. Keep believing. Keep praying.
