Move Forward

My child, I am calling you to a peaceful life. Let My peace guard your heart and mind. Learn to rest in Me, rejoice in Me and be thankful. I, the God of peace am with you. I will supply all your needs. I will be with you in times of trouble. Let not your heart be anxious. Do not fear and do not doubt. I have called you to a life of faith. Walk in faith and do not shrink back. Victory awaits you as you confidently and boldly move forward with Me.

Philippians 4:4-9 & 19      John 14:1

Freedom and Confidence

My child, keep the faith. Keep believing Me when all seems lost. Your faith in Me pleases Me. When you doubt, you’re doubting My ability to take care of the situation. Don’t doubt, only believe. This may go against every fiber of your being, but learn to trust Me in EVERYTHING. Only then will you be able to walk in the freedom and confidence I’ve called you to.

Hebrews 11:6    Galatians 3:6

Heirs of God

What does it mean to be God’s son or daughter? It’s vitally important to understand the dynamic status we’ve freely been given in Christ, because without an appreciation for what this relationship encompasses, we are unlikely to move beyond a certain level of spiritual growth. “I realize what it means to be a child of God,” you might again be thinking. But have you really come to grips with the magnitude of this promise?

How often do we stop and think about what Paul meant by saying, “The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ…”(Romans 8:16-17). Do you notice the principle of inheritance here? Just as God promised that Abraham would be an heir, we also are heirs of God. Paul makes it very clear in Romans 4:16 that “those who are of the faith of Abraham” are his descendants and therefore heirs of the promise. But in our case the promise is even greater, because what we are to inherit is the fulfillment of that which God planned for His children from the very beginning of time—the promise of “a new covenant”; that of an “eternal inheritance,” as the writer of Hebrews so succinctly states.(Hebrews 9:15) What an incredible opportunity we’ve been handed!

Fellow heirs with Christ? It’s tough, isn’t it, trying to envision ourselves as the heirs of the splendors of all that belongs to God. Can you even imagine? If we could really grasp this truth, wouldn’t it change everything for us? Wouldn’t we just naturally live out our faith in a whole new way—a life of greater focus, a life so much more motivated to “…walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called?”(6)

It’s Not About You

My child, you have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer you who live but Christ lives in you, and the life which you now live in the flesh you live by faith in the Son of God who loves you and gave Himself up for you. Gal. 2:20.

Choose to walk by faith.

“However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”  Luke 18:8

My Purpose Will be Established

My child, I am God and there is no other. I am God, and there is no one like Me. I declare the end from the beginning and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying, My purpose will be established. I will accomplish all My good pleasure. Truly I have spoken, truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it. Believe Me My child. Remove all doubts and place your faith in Me. I WILL bring it to pass.

Isaiah 46: 9-11

The Good News: Part 6

By faith I have received all that God has promised (Galatians 3:22). And in the very same way that I have received Christ Jesus the Lord—that is, as a free gift—I am now to walk in Him (Colossians 2:6).

It was for freedom that Christ set me free. Therefore, I will stand firm and not subject myself again to the yoke of slavery (Galatians 5:1). For the promises of God are valid for me only if I continue in the faith, firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel (Colossians 1:23).

The hope of God’s promise is that by grace I have been saved through faith This is the gift of God, not a result of my own goodness or deeds (Ephesians 2:8-9). In this same way I have every opportunity to attain to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding—the true knowledge of God’s mystery, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:2-3).

I Say Possible

My child, what you see as impossible, I say “possible”. When you are weak, I am strength. Get your eyes off yourself and look to Me. Quit relying on yourself and trust Me. Life is not a cake walk, it’s a faith walk. All I am asking you to do is believe.

“Do not be unbelieving, but believing. Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed. John 20: 27 & 29.

Made Righteous & Free From Sin

My child, I have made you righteous. I have freed you from the power of sin and the bondage of this world. Never think you can do anything to earn your way into My good graces. You only need to believe. Believe that I died and rose again. Believe that My blood cleanses you from sin. Believe that you are Mine and walk in the provision I have given you. “It is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and that not of yourself, it is a gift of God. Not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2: 8&9

God’s Purpose and Plan for Your Life

My child, you have been searching for a long time for what My purpose and plan is for your life, but it’s in the small daily things that I have for you to do that I am well pleased. Most people don’t realize it’s in these small acts of obedience that results in a life worthy of the calling I have called them to. Faith requires daily obedience. Fruit results from a life connected to the Vine. I have called you to bear much fruit and the only way you can do that is to stay firmly rooted in Me. I cause the fruit to bud, grow and ripen. You are My branch which I use for this process to happen. Your job is to remain faithful and connected. My job is to do the rest. You do your part, let Me do mine.
