Weary?

My child, it’s the day in and day out disciplines that get wearisome. Most won’t endure the difficult to get to the excellent. The broad way is just too easy to follow. But I have set your feet on the narrow path. It’s the harder more difficult path but instead of a life of mediocrity, it is a life of adventure, set apart and used to glorify Me. Some vessels are used for common use, but I have chosen you for the uncommon. Rejoice in the hard and difficult. They are leading you to the greater things.

Stay Alert

My child, it’s when things are going well that you must stay alert. Don’t become complacent just because there is no crisis at the moment. Your adversary the devil is roaming around seeking who he can devour. Stay alert in prayer. Stay close to Me in good times as well as bad. I desire to be your ever present help in time of need.

Cease Striving

My child, stay connected to Me and don’t doubt. I am asking you to believe Me. Why question Me or My motives? Did I not form you and shape you in My image? Be obedient in what I have called you to and I will supply your every need. Walk in the confidence of My Power. I’m not expecting self-confidence, but faith confidence. Only when you put your complete trust in Me will your heart be at peace. Cease striving and know that I am God. Psalm 46-10.

Talents and Abilities

My child, you are loved, chosen and called. It’s not your talent and your ability that I am looking for. It’s your willing and open heart. I am the One who works through you. I give you talents, gifts and the ability to carry out what I have called you to do. It’s not you doing it. It’s Me doing it through you that will make a difference.

This Is The Day

My child, this is the day I have made. Rejoice and be glad in it! Be thankful and have a grateful attitude in all you do and think today. Remain in Me, delighting yourself in Me and I will give you the desires of your heart. The world is drawn to those who are delighted in Me. You will influence those around you as you practice this as a lifestyle.

Passions and Desires

My child, I give you a glimpse of My plan for you by putting passion in your heart. But I want you to walk in faith and continue to keep your focus on Me. I don’t want you off doing your own thing. That only leads to pride and pride leads to destruction. If you rely on Me and offer up your passions and desires to Me, I can make something beautiful of your life. It’s not a bad thing to have these desires. It’s only that I want to continually be your first love.
