Thankful

Beloved, there is so much to be thankful for. Set your mind on things above, not on what you see here on earth. Be on the alert, the devil prowls around looking for someone to devour. Guard your heart and mind. Be equipped with My armor. I have not called you to wallow in the muck and mire of negativity. I gave you life, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit. Represent Me well while you are here on earth. Colossians 3:2  1 Peter 5:8 Romans 14:17

Live Today

Beloved, trust Me today. There are no assurances of tomorrow. Live today like it is your last day. Love freely, give generously, encourage, build up and edify others. Life is too short to worry about tomorrow. Matthew 6:34

Abundance

Beloved, you want My blessings, but you don’t want to fully surrender to Me. You want answers, but you don’t want to obey Me. How can I bring you into everything I have for you when you still want your own way? I can only bless you with My blessings when you fully and wholly give Me your entire life. Only then will I release the abundance I have for you.

Believe it!

Beloved, I have given you My Word, believe it. I have given you My promises, walk in them. I have given you life, live it in the power and strength of the Holy Spirit. I give you everything you need to live the life I have purposed for you. Depend on Me and seek Me with your whole heart. I will continually guide you and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones. Isaiah 58:11

Set Your Mind

My child, set your mind and keep it set on the things of the Spirit. The mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. When ever you find your mind wandering back to the things of the flesh, stop it. Focusing on the things of the flesh does not please Me and only leads to death. You have the mind of Christ. Choose wisely what you think about.

Romans 8:2-9  1 Corinthians 2:16

Glory

My child, I am a jealous God. Have no other gods before Me. I want all of you. Live in such a way as to glorify Me. Let Me love through you and bring you into your calling. Your calling is to love Me with all of your heart, mind, soul and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. This will bring Me glory and will bring you peace, joy and the life you were meant to live.

Deuteronomy 6:5

Live Life Today

My child, do not fear the future, for I am your Father who takes care of you. Live in the present moment. Make the most of today. Engage in the now and experience My Presence, My joy and My love. Don’t miss out on today because you are too busy being concerned about tomorrow. Live life today.

Immortality

It’s very important to understand how absolutely foreign death is to God. In Him there only exists life. Our death in the natural world was never meant to be anything other than ushering us into everlasting life in Him—His life. Paul tells us that, “this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about what is written, ‘Death is swallowed up in victory’…The last enemy that will be abolished is death.”(1 Corinthians 15:24-26)

What’s interesting about this is that our theme verse—“The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law”—follows so closely on the heels of this explanation of God’s victory over death.(1 Corinthians 15:56) This should help us to appreciate how close the relationship is between the concepts of law, sin, death and life.

So when Paul says “consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus,” we know that it must have profound meaning for our life here on earth—not merely in the life hereafter.
