Tempted?

Beloved, are you being tempted or challenged to stray from My truth and My ways? Are you going down a path I have not called you to? Return to Me. Submit to My authority. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to Me and I will draw near to you. James 4:7-8

Release Everything

My child, I will use you and all your gifts as you surrender them to Me. You must die to self before I can raise you up. Doing things in your own strength does not bring Me glory. Only when you lay everything down at the foot of My cross, then I can bring you into your calling. Release everything to Me. I have the best plan for your life.

Glory

My child, I am a jealous God. Have no other gods before Me. I want all of you. Live in such a way as to glorify Me. Let Me love through you and bring you into your calling. Your calling is to love Me with all of your heart, mind, soul and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. This will bring Me glory and will bring you peace, joy and the life you were meant to live.

Deuteronomy 6:5

Spirit

My child, I have clothed you with power from on high. You are My temple and My Spirit dwells in you. I have given you the mind of Christ and am with you to overcome every obstacle that comes against you. Walk in the victory I have provided for you. Live in a manner worthy of your calling. Live in such a way that the world will want what you have. My Spirit is living in you. Be a fragrant aroma of Christ and fulfill the good work I have give you to do.

1 Corinthians 3:16    1 Corinthians 2:12 & 16

I Am With You

My child, I go before you today to prepare your way, all you need to do is walk in faith and obedience. Hear My Word and walk in My Spirit. Believe Me and trust Me as this day unfolds. Love others with My love. Serve others in kindness. Be joyful and thankful in everything I ask you to do. This will draw the lost. This is your calling. Know child that I am with you all the way.

Power ~ Love ~ Discipline

My child, I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of power and love and discipline. I have saved you and called you with a holy calling, not according to your works, but according to My own purpose and grace which was granted to you in My Son from all eternity. Live in an attitude of faith, power and love. Never rely on your own strength, but put your full confidence in Me. I am the victory. Pray like you believe it.

My Purpose?

Paul tells us that we’ve been “created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we would walk in them.”(Ephesians 2:10) God has created and redeemed each one of us with an individual purpose in mind, often thought of as a personal calling.

We all share this inward tug as believers. So letting life move us forward without any real sense of direction can’t help but lead to a sense of confusion and frustration. “What am I doing for God? I just don’t know what my purpose is. Why can’t I be more like what’s-his-name over there?”

This is by no means an uncommon problem. In talking with others over the years, I’ve come to the conclusion that the majority of Christians find themselves stuck in the disappointing position of not understanding what God’s intent is for their life. I often sense it myself. And even those who have been used by God in some unique way sometimes share this frustration, since falling back into that familiar holding pattern is easy to do once a job is completed.

Apparently we can’t just lean back and rest on our laurels, since that merely serves to produce the same sense of dissatisfaction as if we’d never experienced the fulfillment of walking in God’s calling at all.

My People

My child, I am calling a people. My people. I will gather to them, to those already gathered. I am calling a people far and wide to eat of My banquet and enjoy My Presence. For in My Presence is fullness of joy. In Me you are fully satisfied. I am calling you My bride. Come and drink your fill of My never ending well.
