Clinging to Grace

As Christians, it’s easy to become a bit confused when setting our minds to do right. Why? Because in attempting to rid our life of sin, we often turn to good works in the hope that they will somehow offset the sin demerits we instinctively sense accumulating against us. So it’s not hard to slip somewhat effortlessly into the very thing true faith should avoid at all costs—works righteousness.

Understanding this link between good works and sin is extremely important because Satan focuses his efforts to destroy us at this very juncture. He uses it as his primary strategy to rob us of all God has to offer.

If the devil can convince us to earn our way rather than simply receiving and walking in God’s free gift of grace, he will have succeeded in handcuffing us to the extent of “defrauding us of our prize”of freedom in Christ.(Colossians 2:18) And if he can accomplish that, he just may be successful in getting us to walk away altogether from the truth of the redemption God freely offers. His ultimate goal for all believers is apostasy—the abandonment and renunciation of our faith.

Choose Faith

My child, I want so much for you to believe Me – Really believe that I am who I say I am and that I will do what I say I will do. Never doubt Me. Your faith will grow as you make the choice to believe instead of doubt. I desire that ‘choice to believe’ become automatic and doubt becomes non-existent. Then you’ll experience the wonder working Power of My Holy Spirit on a continual basis. Don’t limit what I can do because of your unbelief. Choose faith.

Fear or Faith? You choose

My child, today you have the opportunity to either believe Me or be fearful. The choice is yours. My desire is that you put your faith in Me and not fear.  Fear is a powerful emotion, but with Me you can overcome it. You can say no to fear and live your life in faith, the way I designed you to live. You are in control of your choices. Think about this. Can you change the outcome if you decide to worry and fret? But if you resolve to trust Me, I will lead you through with My power and strength. Would you rather rely on your own or Mine? You choose.

Life of Faith

My child, I chose you before the foundation of the world and you are mine. I will never leave you nor forsake you. You are safe and secure in Me. Keep your focus on Me My child. As long as you stay focused on Me and not get caught up in the world, you will have My peace. It’s only when you get distracted that you become anxious. Do not fear and do not fret. I have called you to a life of faith. Walk in the confidence of My great love for you. This is the life I’ve called you to. A life of faith.

Ephesians 1:4   Psalm 37:8

Release It All

My child, as you release the old out of your life, I will fill you with the new. A new way of thinking and a new way of doing things. You are coming into a season of living a totally surrendered and wholly devoted life. This has been a process in you, but as it intensifies, the devil will fight you from releasing the last bit of self to Me. Oh, but when you do My child, you will wonder why you ever hung onto it. Come now. Come willing. I will show you great and wonderful things. Things you wouldn’t ever be able to think or imagine on your own. Come and explore the adventure I have set before you. Yes, it takes faith. Yes, it takes courage. Yes, it requires your all. But it’s so worth it. Won’t you trust Me?

Don’t Fear The Future

  • My child, don’t fear the future. Haven’t I always taken care of you? I will continue to care for all the things that concern you. Your job is to have faith and continue to believe Me even when you don’t see anything happening. Without faith it’s impossible to please Me. Keep believing My child, keep believing.

Psalm 18:19   Hebrews 11:6

Blessed

My child, blessed are you when you walk by faith. Blessed aer you when you choose o believe Me instead of doubting. Blessed are you when you have full assurance that I am in control and working everything out for your good. Live in faith and not in fear. You will live a blessed life and you will be a blessing to others.
