My Lovingkindness Leads to Repentance

My child, My lovingkindness does lead to repentance. I am pursuing those you love and will continue to pursue them until they come to the end of themselves. I love them more than you do. I desire them to be with Me in My Kingdom and to be delivered from all of the lies of the evil one. I will rescue them from the domain of darkness and transfer them to the Kingdom of My beloved Son. It’s their destiny to be with Me and I will not let up on them.

“The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but all to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

Nothing is impossible

My child, don’t ever let the seemingly impossible stop you from believing. I am the God of the Universe and there is nothing impossible for Me. There is no impossible situation or circumstance that I can’t handle. I have a plan and purpose. Believe Me for the impossible. Believe Me instead of doubting. Believe Me instead of all the lies the devil would have your believe. Choose today to believe Me and don’t let anything or anyone rob you of your faith. For without faith it is impossible to please Me, for those who come to Me must believe that I AM and that I AM a rewarder of those who seek Me. Hebrews 11:6

God of the NOW

My child, take one step at a time and one day at a time. I am here with you NOW. Don’t be anxious about the future or fret about the past. Just be about what I’m telling you to do today. Every day is a new beginning with new opportunities. Watch for what I am doing and enter in. I am leading you. Choose to follow Me with your whole heart today. Let Me lead you into the life I have for you. You’ll be amazed at the outcome when you follow Me with your whole heart.

Lead by Example

My child, you are a forerunner placed in a position of leadership. You are given responsibilities so you can lead by example. The way you handle each circumstance is being watched. People are seeing your faithfulness and perseverance. They are learning from your example. Press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. I will supply all your needs according to My riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Seven Ingredients to a Healthy & Fit Lifestyle #2

Ingredient number 2 is: HAVE A GOAL!

Zig Ziglar says: “A goal properly set is halfway reached.” and he also says, “If you want to reach a goal, you must ‘see the reaching’ in your own mind before you actually arrive at your goal.”

The biggest reason people fail to achieve their fitness goals is because they either didn’t set any to begin with or they made them too big. Set specific, realistic goals. Write them down on paper and read them daily. Take your goals seriously and write them out in the present tense. For example, instead of “I want to lose 10 pounds.” say, I weigh ___ pounds and am maintaining it with ease. Whatever your goal is, write it out like you’ve already attained it. Your mind will work toward that goal if you state it in the positive. And the more emotion you stir up, the more motivated you’ll be to go after it.

And don’t just concentrate on the obstacles or problems of reaching your goal. Negative statements and self-defeating questions or statements are: I can’t lose weight no matter what I do –  Why can’t I lose this last ten pounds? – I have a slow metabolism – I’ll try. – It’s so hard to lose weight. Change the way you phrase these into more positive statements: I weigh ____. I exercise ___ days a week and feel energetic all day long.  I am in the best shape of my life. My metabolism is getting faster and faster every day. I LOVE eating healthy, whole, living foods. I have more energy than I know what to do with.

As you repeat these goals, they will become a part of your life. Have a plan everyday. Write them out on 3X5 cards and repeat them morning and night. This not only works for losing weight and getting into shape, but scripture memory and accomplishing other daily tasks as well. Whatever you need or want to do that day, write it down.

Once you’ve achieved your goal, set a new one. Celebrate your accomplishments and take it to the next level. Keep setting goals. It’s an energizing exercise and will change your life.

Suffering: God’s Tool

Trials are common to all believers. And they are not the result of any lack of interest or caring on God’s part. Just the opposite, actually: He allows suffering because He deeply cares about us. His glorious purpose for our lives dictates that He press us toward His long-term goal, instead of providing counterproductive short-term solutions. This is no doubt why God’s promise that we are “children of God…heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ” is made along with this qualifying statement: “if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.”(Romans 8:16-17)

Will I continue to trust God in my circumstances? Or will I cut and run by giving in to my natural inclination to do things my own way—in the process showing God that I really do not trust Him. God allows suffering not that He might discover what we harbor in our heart. He already knows what’s there. Rather, God wants us to recognize what is concealed within, and suffering is His tool for laying it all out on the table.

What your soul needs

My child, I long to be gracious to you. I wait on high to have compassion on you. I am a God of justice. How blessed are all those who long for Me. Come to Me into the quiet place. Rest your soul in My arms. I long for you to come and sit in My presence. I have so much to say to you and so much to give you. I am what your soul needs. Won’t you come?

Isaiah: 30:18

It’s Not About You

My child, you have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer you who live but Christ lives in you, and the life which you now live in the flesh you live by faith in the Son of God who loves you and gave Himself up for you. Gal. 2:20.

Choose to walk by faith.

“However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”  Luke 18:8

Unavoidable Challenges

God wants us to experience joy and fulfillment, and even lots of pleasure as we live our lives for Him. Still, because the role of suffering occupies such a central place in God’s plan for our ultimate destiny in Him, we can’t simply sweep the issue under the rug. So one way to better understand His purpose for us is to begin to recognize the methods by which He employs suffering as a part of His plan to bring us into our destiny.

What are they? First of all, this world is not our home. We are merely sojourners here. The great people of God in the Bible all knew this to be true.(Hebrews 11:13) Paul was well aware of this fact: “For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven”(2 Corinthians 5:2, Romans 8:23). We simply were not created for the objective of happiness on this earth, no matter how bountiful life here might turn out to be.

It doesn’t matter how rich we become, what prestige or power we gain in life, or even how wonderful our relationships with family and friends are. Mature Christians know that all these things pale in comparison to what we’ve really been designed for. And the fact is that none of these earthly benefits, no matter how marvelous they are, exempt us from challenges and hardships that come in so many different ways throughout our lives. Merely by virtue of the fact that we live in a world full of sin and suffering—what we call a fallen world—puts us in direct conflict with any hope that God’s design could be solely focused on our happiness here on earth.

Victory Is Mine

My child, I came to abolish all rule and authority and power. I reign and all My enemies will be under My feet. I give you the victory, so be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord. Be strong and courageous and keep believing. Victory is Mine and I am in control. Never doubt that.
