Open Wide

My child, I have a fixed order in this Universe. I created the heavens and earth and I established the boundaries of the land and sea. Because I love you, I created you and drew you to Me. When you opened your heart to Me I came in and revealed My Son to you. This I did because I love you. My love is deeper than anything you have ever known. My love stretches to the highest heavens and to the deepest sea. My love is over all My creation and is extended to every person on earth. Open your heart wider. Give Me full access. Let Me pour more love in and through you. Do not leave any part of you closed off to Me. Open wide. I am waiting to flood you with My love. Your Father who adores you.

My Love For You

My love for you is endless. My commitment to you is sure. You can count on Me. Rest assured that I have My hand on you and will not let go. You are My lovely bride and My joy. I love you. I desire you. I take great pride in My creation of you and I love that you are loving Me in return. Know this My sweet one, you are the apple of My eye and nothing will ever change that. You are safe and secure under My wing. I am your strong tower and your refuge. Rejoice My chosen one. Rejoice.

Want Some Proof?

The Bible tells us that proof of God’s existence can clearly be seen in nature. Through His creation, God reveals enough about Himself to inspire and motivate our pursuit of Him. Consequently, He has stripped mankind of any excuse for failing to do so.(Romans 1:19-20) But if that were not enough—which apparently is the case for many—God has provided further proof of His existence.

In his book, Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis talks about a law, or principle, which is fundamental to our common experience. He claims that all people down through history have instinctively known that a moral law exists by which they ought to behave. It is called the Law of Nature (or Human Nature). He goes on to say that two points are essential to our understanding of how this law operates:

“First, that human beings, all over the earth, have this curious idea that they ought to behave in a certain way, and cannot really get rid of it. Secondly, that they do not in fact behave in that way. They know the Law of Nature; they break it. These two facts are the foundation of all clear thinking about ourselves and the universe we live in.”

Taking God’s Creation for Granted

Have you considered your hand lately? While watching the World Series it stuck me how effortlessly people use their hands–not just catching one of those foul balls, but everything we do. We use our hands to pick up the tiniest crumb or wield a huge sledge hammer. And all without the least thought given to it. What’s the big deal you might ask? Well, you should ask God that question the next time you look at your hand. The miracle of God’s creation surrounds us, and our hands are just one striking example of His creative genius. We dare not take any of it for granted.
