We can’t fully appreciate what it means to be alive in our spirit until we understand what it means to be spiritually dead. Being dead means that our connection to God is broken in such a way that communication with Him on a Spirit to spirit basis isn’t possible. Since the very definition of spiritual life is the sharing of God’s life, His presence within is our only lifeline.
Christ’s death on the cross paved the way for every person on earth to experience His indwelling presence. But though He offers it as a free gift, it doesn’t just happen automatically. We receive His gift only by our willingness to turn from our own selfish desires—our sin—and then put Him in charge by making him the Lord of our life. If you haven’t already taken this step, do it now! God will keep His word. You’ll be born again and enter a life you never dreamed possible.
Needs
My child, there is never a time when there are not any more needs. There will always be needs here on earth. This earth is not paradise. It was never meant to be. I created mankind so they would see their need for Me. So never think you will be completely satisfied here. Complete satisfaction and fulfillment is in Me alone. The perfect mate won’t do it. The perfect job won’t do it. Perfect kids won’t do it either. There is no perfection on earth. Only in Me will you feel and know perfect peace, perfect joy and perfect love.
Safe and Secure
I have called you My child. From a young age you were hand picked by Me to be Mine. I need your full attention. I need you to obey Me. For the road ahead is rocky and full of obstacles. But with your hand in Mine, I will lead you through. You will be safe and secure as long as you stay on the path I have chosen for you. There is danger on either side, but do not fear. I have put courage in you. I have anointed you with an unshakable faith. Just stay on the straight and narrow way. For the way is broad that leads to destruction and many are those who enter by it. For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life and few are those who find it. Choose the narrow way. Choose Me.
My Workmanship
My child, you hear, but will you remember My Words? Will you take to heart what I am telling you? I have given you the ability to remember, but you choose to forget. Decide to remember. Make an effort not to forget My Words. Be intentional and choose to hear and heed what I am saying to you. Do not be afraid of what the future holds. For I hold the future. You are My workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which I prepared beforehand so that you would walk in them.
Chosen and Dearly Loved
Last night thoughts attacked me, “What do you think you’re doing? Why are you doing this? Who do you think you are?” The accuser was on attack mode. Attack! Attack! Attack!! Well, I KNOW who I am! I am a child of the MOST HIGH GOD! That’s who I am. I’m free! I’m bought with His blood and I am HIS! The evil one has NO authority, No power and No right to me! I AM HIS!! Satan seems to attack at our weakest moments. KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WHO’S YOU ARE!! You are chosen and dearly loved.
Our Spirit: the Dwelling Place of God
Man’s spiritual nature is God’s supreme gift, since only through our spirit are we able to commune with Him. Indeed, the opportunity for His indwelling presence is the reason our spirit exists. God actually takes up residence in our spirit as we allow Him to do so. Because He has given us the capacity of free will, God lives within us only as an invited guest.
Our spirit has been fashioned in such a way as to provide the Holy Spirit a dwelling place within. I’m sure you’ve heard it said that within each person there is a God-shaped vacuum which only He can fill. That place is our spirit. Without the inhabiting presence of God, our spirit is simply dead—and therefore purposeless. With Him active inside us, the foundation is laid for fulfilling the purpose for which we were created.
True Peace
True peace lies in Me. You may be seeking it in the way you look, or your financial position or your mate, but you will only find it in one place, and that is in Me. I bring true peace. Peace that surpasses all understanding. Peace that allows you to remain calm when the storm rates. Peace that brings hope and peace that lasts. Everything else is a poor substitute and is temporary. I bring peace that endures.
My Love
My love stretches over the earth. It encompasses every area of your life. Because I love you, I came to earth to dwell among you. I died for you and rose again, conquering death so you might live. Never underestimate the power of My love. The more you allow Me to love through you, the more powerful and effective you will become in bearing much fruit. You will be known as My disciple because of your love. Let all the barriers down. Allow Me full access. I came to set people free. I accomplish this through love. Your Savior who loves you with everlasting love.
Ask
My child, I will give you as much or as little as you ask for. You need only ask, believe and be surrendered to Me. I am willing to pour out My glory in and through you. I am willing to give you everything you need to accomplish what I am asking of you. You just need to be willing, open and ready. Be quick to listen and slow to speak. Listen for My voice, I am speaking. Obey Me and follow My path. My Word will lead you. My voice will guide you. Act on what I am telling you. You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.
Come Often
In My Presence is where I want you to be. In My holy of holies is where I can be found. Dwell there with Me. Come and rest in My Presence. Be refreshed and filled. This world will wear you out if you let it. You need to come to Me often to get recharged for the task at hand, Do not try to go it alone. You have all My power at your disposal. Operated in My strength, then you won’t burn out or exhaust yourself. When I was here walking on earth, I went away often to a secluded place to be with My Father. You need to do that too. Do not neglect time with Me. Make it your top priority. Come and be filled. I anxiously await you. For it is My pleasure to pour out on you all My joy, strength, power and authority to accomplish that which I have called you to do.
