I desire to be one with you. United, set apart, sanctified, so that you will be in Me and I in you. This is the intimacy I want for us My child. Oneness. A love so great awaits all those who come and seek Me with their whole heart. My love, My joy, My peace inside of you. My Spirit dwelling inside of you, revealing all that the Father has for you. Enter into this intimacy. Do not be afraid of it. Do not hold back. Complete joy and total satisfaction awaits you. I alone can fulfill your greatest need. The emptiness that you experience is a lack of Me. Only I can fill that void. There are no replacements, no substitutions. Everything besides Me leads to greater need and greater dissatisfaction. Come My child and get whole, pure unadulterated love, joy and peace from the One who loves you with everlasting lovingkindness. Come My love, enter into the joy of your salvation.
Eyes Wide Open
My child, there are so many rich promises in My word for you. You only need to come with your eyes wide open and your heart open to Me alone. Do not give yourself to the things of this world. Do not follow after false gods. Follow Me, the Creator of the universe, the Maker of heaven and earth. I alone can save you. I alone can bring you out of the destruction of darkness and into My marvelous light. Look into My Word. Claim My promises and do not fear. For I have made you My people, My chosen one, My bride.
Complete Satisfaction
This is the work of God that you believe in Him whom he has sent. For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day. I am asking you to believe Me. To believe My Word. I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father but through Me. In Me there is life. Abundant life. Indescribable joy and supernatural peace. Nowhere else can you find complete satisfaction, total fulfillment, overflowing joy and peace that surpasses understanding. It’s available, you can have it, just believe in Me.
The “Jesus App”
Our smart phones have become indispensable to us, both for communication and information. When we find a great app we immediately download it; the most important ones go right there on the front page. We tend to do the same with Jesus. We know relationship with God is super important, and thus give Him priority over most other things. Yet still we demote Him to sort of “app” status—someone we go to the minute we have a need.
It’s not surprising that we’re a bit confused, since inviting Christ into our life has become the centerpiece of today’s evangelism. Look at it from this perspective: What really happens is not accepting Jesus into our life, but that He is allowing us to share in His! He needs to be more to us than something merely added to our life. Jesus is more than an app; He’s the operating system itself!
Rejoice Always
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is God’s will for you. Do not quench the Spirit, do not despise prophetic utterances. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24
God Is Faithful
There are hard days, but God is faithful. The hard times help us press into Him. To depend on Him to see us through. He brings peace to the chaos, joy to the wounded. He is light in the darkness and life to our broken hearts. Thank You Jesus.
Ignore Symptoms; Attack the Disease!
While trying to change our behavior by disciplining the body has some value, it ultimately never produces the desired result. This is because it merely treats the symptoms—not the disease itself. And not only that, it leads to heaping on a load of guilt when it fails to work. By its very nature, this strategy is doomed to failure because it simply bucks God’s design. His life flows not from the works of the flesh, but from the Spirit of God surging through our spirit.
The same goes for depending on our intellect. But doesn’t gaining more knowledge about God mean that our heart will change in the process? To some degree it does. Sure it’s important, but that’s not what we need most! God’s strategy is centered on our opportunity to commune with Him. Genuine change in our heart results from the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit bringing our spirit alive to Him.
What Pleases Me Most
What breaks My heart is people being so bogged down by the cares of this world that they don’t step into their calling. They are distracted and anxious and never experience all I have for them. The enemy has laid the trap of distraction and so many people fall into it. Do not be like them. Stay the course. Do not be entangled in the things of this world. Be focused on what I have called you to do. Do it with all your might. Do it unto Me. Rejoice in your calling. Refuse to be fearful or anxious about what lies ahead. I have your future planned out. I know what concerns you. You need not fret, but joyfully go on with what I have for you and you will experience peace and fulfillment. I am looking for people with faith. What pleases Me more than anything else is seeing someone operating in faith. Faith in Me.
My Presence
My glory is all around you. Ask Me and I will give you eyes to see. I will show you My glory and will open up the heavens to you when you wait in My presence. I will make Myself know to you as you seek Me with your whole heart. I will come and commune with you, dwell with you and satisfy your every need. I bring My perfect peace. Where I am, there is no fear, no anxiety, no confusion or doubt. Rest in Me. Come and dwell in My presence. Our time together is sweet. I will make you a fragrant aroma of Christ as you linger in My presence. The longer you linger, the more fragrant you become. The less you linger, the stinkier you are. It’s just a fact.
The Narrow Path
I have given you a spirit of Power, of love and a sound mind. You will walk in My ways. You will stay on My path. You will not turn to the right or the left. You will choose the narrow path. The path that leads to eternal life, so that you may know Me and My son Jesus Christ who I sent. Intimacy, My child, that is what this life is all about. Live in intimacy with Me.
