My child, I have told you what is good and what I require of you. Do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with your God. choose to walk with Me today. Choose to be kind and do what is right. Let My light and love shine through you today.
Micah 6:8
My child, I have told you what is good and what I require of you. Do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with your God. choose to walk with Me today. Choose to be kind and do what is right. Let My light and love shine through you today.
Micah 6:8
My child, quiet your soul and come near to Me. I long for you to be in My Presence. Turn off the distractions and learn from Me. Your soul will never be satisfied with anything else. I alone fill that place. I alone am all you need. Rest here a while. Be filled with My Holy Spirit. Then you will be able to live your life in peace.
My child, My mercies are new every morning. Focus on one day at a time. You will have everything you need for today. I did not call you to an anxious life. When you think about the future too much you become anxious. Don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Focus on obeying Me today and I will take care of your tomorrows.
Lamentations 3:22-23 Matthew 6:34
My child, boldly go after the gift which is in you. I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self control. Do not be ashamed of My testimony, but join in on spreading My good news according to My power.
1 Timothy 1:-9
My child, I am with you. I deliver you and defeat your enemies. You are My chosen race, a royal priesthood and a holy nation so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into the marvelous light.
Deut. 23:14 1 Peter 2:9
Many Christians believe a myth about baptism—namely, that the sacrament of baptism washes away our sins, thus bringing us into right standing with God.
But what it really teaches is that we are connected to Christ through the new birth in such a way that we actually become joined to Him. And having become united with Him, we now enjoy all the benefits accomplished on the cross—just as if we had suffered the punishment of death for sin ourselves.
Water baptism, then, is a powerful symbol of the spiritual reality of being joined to Christ, both in His death and in His resurrection. We are commanded to perform the ritual of baptism as a public acknowledgement of our decision to step forward into this new life in Him. (Romans 6:3-5)
My child, trust in Me and do not be ashamed. Wait for Me and I will make you know My ways. I will teach you My paths and lead you into My truth. I am your God. I am your Salvation and I love you with an ever-lasting love.
Psalm 25:1-5
My child, I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of what I long to do through you. Give Me your all and I will pour out My Spirit to overflowing. I want to transform people’s lives and I want to use you to do it. Be empty so I can fill you.
Well, we’re over a month into the New Year. Are you ‘over’ your New Year resolutions yet? Have you tried once again to get those holiday pounds off, vowing to get out and exercise everyday, eat right and not succumb to the many temptations that come along every day? Well that’s no way to live. What I’m after, and many of you probably are to is balance. How can we live a balanced life, be at a healthy weight and still enjoy life?
I’ve come to the conclusion that that it’s a lot easier than you may think. First of all assess what you are eating. Do you know that your fat loss success is mostly due to what you put in your mouth? Do you know how many calories are taking in every day? Most people think they eat less than they actually do. If you start logging on MyFitnessPal.com or Livestrong.com/Myplate, you can quickly and easily see how many you’re eating.
Next, decide what you want your weight to be. Are you taking in account your lean body mass? You can find out what your body fat percentage is on Linear-software.com/bodyfat. All you need to do is put in your age, height, weight, neck, waist and hip measurements. Set a healthy goal of increasing your lean body mass and decreasing your fat pounds. The scale weight may vary depending on how much you decide to weight lift. Did I mention weight lifting is the number one exercise you should concentrate on when you’re trying to lose fat? Well it is. Don’t go overboard on cardio. Learn to love the weights. All you need are a few dumbbells and you’ve got it made.
I found a really good resource for those who have tried to diet and failed over and over again. His name is Layne Norton and you can search for him on YouTube.com. His video log #16 and 23 are particularly insightful. Check them out and learn why you have not had the success you’re after. It has changed the way I eat. In fact I’m eating more now and dropping fat faster. No more yo-yo dieting for me. This is a lifestyle not a diet.
Balance is the best way to live.
My child, you know My voice. You hear Me when I call out to you. I long to show you great and marvelous things. I desire to pour out My blessings on you. Come and hear. Come and receive. Why go after the counterfeit when you can experience the real thing? My love, My compassion, My truth will never fail. Long for the true and righteous things. Set your heart on Me. I long to give you the desires of your heart.
